Epsom x Macron

Our new home and away kits have landed!

We have announced our new home and away kits in partnership with Macron. Both sets have been designed with our traditions at heart. The Blue & White hooped design for our home kit has been redesigned to include the same pattern as our home goalkeeper shirt.

Our away shirt is unique, not only has our badge and the macron logo been centralised (not many Macron kits have this), the top half of the front and the bottom half of the back, we have added in the map of our home Borough. To show that although we play in a neighbouring Borough, our clubs heart is in Epsom.

We currently exploring sponsorships for this kit and also our travel wear. Do you think your company logo would look good on our new kits? Want to sponsor a community club? Get in touch today!

Phil Walker (1954-2022)

Epsom & Ewell Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Phil Walker.

Phil was a part of our memorable FA Vase final squad in 1975 before departing for Millwall.

Phil, a joint capture from Epson & Ewell along with team-mate Trevor Lee, was thrust straight into the first team and made his debut at The Den against Mansfield Town.

The pair of Walker and Lee became instant heroes when Trevor’s knock-down allowed Phil to thump home the game’s only goal, and at the Cold Blow Lane end.

Phil became a fans’ favourite with his fierce shooting and equally hard running, particularly with his box-to-box exploits. He also possessed a peach of a left foot which brought him his goals.

In his initial season as a Lion, Phil registered 35 appearances that displayed self-assurance in his ability and no less consistency. Phil was a member of the squad that won promotion in 1976 and he took to Second Division football like a duck to water. His performances began to attract numerous suitors, and neighbours Charlton Athletic forked out a fee of £120.000 to take him to The Valley in July 1979.

After a loan spell with Gillingham, Phil joined Eastern FC of Hong Kong in May 1983 and from 1985 he enjoyed a marvellous spell in Portugal with the likes of Leixoes and FC Maia. It was Phil who introduced Carlos Fanguerio to Millwall in August 2005. On his return to England, Phil set up a Soccer School in Wandsworth. Phil’s Millwall record saw him play 167 games and register 22 goals.

Everyone at Epsom & Ewell FC sends their condolences to the family and friends of Phil at this sad time.
